The Digestive SystemThe crab has three different jaws with unique functions. The first jaw holds the food in place, while the second and third jaws take a grind the food into smaller pieces. The stomach of a crab is also very unique and odd. Inside the stomach the food gets grinder by hard plates that are inside the stomach and then the digestive juices break down the food for the final time. Then the food is digested and waste is expelled from the crab.
